  Went to buy a water cooler . Walked into the store and was meet with staff standing in a group joking around , I was served by the only staff member that took any interest in what I was looking for , walked out with spending a dime as once again Harvey Norman did not have what I wanted in stock . As it was the first day of Amazon opening in Australia I signed up for an account, found the perfect water cooler for $60 less with free shipping and bought it . You have a very good reason to be worried about your new competition when a local store serving a small niche community continually can not supply demand products

  I had to pick an airconditioning unit up from carlo dr warehouse , I took my sons ute along with my neighbor, ( both females ) they loaded the air con on the ute and proceeded to walk away. Im not very good at tying things down so I called man back to ask where did he think we should put the rope , you could tell the man with the long grey pony tail did not give a rats as he just walked away . Then Darcy came over positioned the aircon for me tied the rope within 2 minutes! ! Well done Darcy there should be more out there like you , nice helpful young man . As for the other man maybe you should retire, or take some lessons from Darcy.

  Nice store. Customer service was quite good, very rare for a Harvey Norman store. Although the store was plagued with an unusual smell, could if just been the day. All and all has all the necessary tech to satisfy most needs
